This Privacy Policy explains how EuroCool ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when visiting this website or contacting us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's data protection laws.

1. Who we are

EuroCool is an air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair business operating across the Costa Blanca region of Spain.

2. What information we collect

We only collect information that you actively provide via our contact form:

  • Your name - so we can address you personally in our reply.
  • Your email address - so we can reply to your enquiry.
  • The message you send us - your enquiry text.

Our bot-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) also briefly processes your IP address in real time to confirm you are not an automated submission. We do not store your IP address ourselves.

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or any other marketing technology on this site. See our Cookies Policy for full details.

3. Why we collect it and the legal basis

We process your enquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your message, and in pre-contractual measures where you are asking for a quotation or service. We do not use your information for any other purpose.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your data with the service providers below, and only to the extent needed to receive and reply to your enquiry:

  • Resend, Inc. (United States) - delivers your contact-form message to our inbox. Resend processes personal data under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) - hosts this website and provides anti-bot protection via Turnstile. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your enquiry email only as long as needed to deal with your request and any related follow-up, and in any case for no longer than twelve (12) months from our last contact - unless we are legally required to keep it longer (for example, to evidence a contract).

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted (the "right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to our processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) or, if you are based in the UK, with the ICO

7. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
